Education for all is one of the millennium goals envisaged in the United Nations proclaimed millennium goals. Sustainable development is also targeted as United Nation′s Development Programme for 2030 for all nations.
Investing in education has always remained a challenge in developing countries like India and a huge percentage of young children remain deprived because of this.
Education results in capacity building and empowerment. Educated individuals become strong pillars of the families and strong families make empowered societies. Strong societies makes strong and powerful nations through human development.
The Human Development Index published for 188 nations in 2021 shows India at a rank of 131 out of 188 nations. Education plays a pivotal role in human development and it becomes a social responsibility in all societies to find ways and means for providing quality education either free or at affordable cost.
It is the cherished tradition of Mahila Samiti Trust that started way back in 1956 to work in this pursuit and we have been reasonably successful in that endeavor of providing quality education to the children from marginalized and low-income group families.
Every child is a possibility and the horizons of growth of an individual are unfathomable. Providing good education to every child through collective efforts of the spouses of railway officers associated with Mahila Samiti Trust has found appreciable results in the past.
Carrying the cherished goals of the Trust and integrating with the collective wisdom of dedicated minds we are striving for the next stage of development. Focusing on sustainable working models in a transparent manner that are replicable by others with total commitment and hope can culminate in achieving our goals.
Associating with more than two thousand families of aspiring young children and a team of hundred plus dedicated staff is a matter of great pride.
Every MSSite (pupil of Mahila Samiti School) who made it to higher echelons of life proves that the efforts of the Trust over the years has given huge success in our mission.
Success does not happen overnight. It takes a lot of efforts coupled with sheer resolve and positive approach. Success can never be scripted without the letter ′u′. In all our ventures targeting success we need your active involvement, cooperation and support.
